Passages
These
works, rather than deconstructing a landscape, deconstruct
paintings. They are an exploration into the parallel phenomenon
in music where exquisite passages in a symphony have as
much impact d power as the symphony as a whole. As such,
segments or "passages" of a larger complete work are isolated
to become condensed expressions of the powerful emotional
connection we have with our environment.
